About IHAMORA

Hi, I'm Tope, founder of IHAMORA.

I'm an abstract artist, pattern designer and strength-training enthusiast with a passion for creativity, movement and self-expression. I created IHAMORA because I wanted activewear that felt different; clothing that combined original design with practical performance and gave women the confidence to stand out rather than blend in.

Every IHAMORA print begins as a piece of artwork. What starts as a sketch, painting or digital design is transformed into wearable pieces designed to support women and girls through training, movement and everyday life.

Alongside running IHAMORA, I work in Quality Improvement within the NHS. That experience has taught me the importance of learning, listening and continually striving to improve. While creativity sits at the heart of every collection, I place great value on understanding how products perform in the real world. Personal wear testing, together with feedback from friends, family and customers, provides valuable reassurance that the products deliver on comfort, quality and performance as well as design.

My goal has always been to create activewear that combines creativity, functionality and individuality; pieces that help women feel confident, comfortable and unapologetically themselves.

Why IHAMORA?

IHAMORA (pronounced "ee-HA-more-a") means armour in the Nigerian language of Yoruba.

The name reflects what I hope women and girls feel when they wear IHAMORA; strong, confident and ready to take on whatever the day brings. Whether you're training in the gym, running outdoors or simply navigating everyday life, the right clothing can help you feel more confident in your own skin.

More Than Activewear

IHAMORA is inspired by great music, creative arts and a love of people. At its heart is a belief in community, connection and encouraging women and girls to be fully themselves.

My vision is to build a community of women and girls who uplift one another, celebrating confidence, faith, togetherness and personal growth. I want IHAMORA to be more than something you wear; I want it to be something you belong to.

A Personal Note

The passage in Ephesians 6:10–18, about putting on the full armour of God, continues to inspire me in how I lead and build this brand. It reminds me that real strength and confidence come from God, and that what we wear can reflect the courage and grace He gives us daily.

For me, God is the CEO of IHAMORA. My role is to follow His lead in creating pieces that help women and girls feel strong, confident and covered in purpose.
